Advancing Biological Age Testing and Aging Research in Japan Together

Partnership covers the expansion of glycan-based biological age testing across Japan and a joint research programme bridging glycan biomarkers & exosome science

Japan is one of the world's most advanced longevity markets...Combining our glycan biomarkers with ExoEarth's expertise in exosome biology opens up exciting avenues for understanding how we age.”

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GlycanAge, the company behind the world's leading glycan-based inflammaging test, and ExoEarth Corporation, a Japanese life sciences company developing the EXOCURE® platform, today announced a strategic collaboration to expand access to biological age testing in Japan and to pursue joint research into the biology of aging. The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), spans both commercial and scientific objectives.

Together, GlycanAge and ExoEarth share a vision of a future in which people everywhere can understand, measure, and actively shape the way they age. Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to bring glycan-based biological age testing to the heart of Japan's scientific, healthcare, and longevity communities, establishing it as a trusted foundation for a new era of preventive, personalised health.

The partnership also unites two complementary frontiers of aging science: GlycanAge's glycan biomarkers of immune-system health and ExoEarth's pioneering work in exosome biology. The two companies will work toward designing and implementing a longitudinal joint research program using GlycanAge testing to evaluate changes over time in biological-age and immune-related indicators associated with the EXOCURE® program. Details regarding participant numbers, measurement intervals, intervention conditions, and the research governance framework will be determined following the necessary scientific, medical, ethical, and regulatory review.

"Japan is one of the world's most advanced longevity markets, and ExoEarth is an ideal partner both to bring GlycanAge to more people here and to explore new science together. Combining our glycan biomarkers with ExoEarth's expertise in exosome biology opens up exciting avenues for understanding how we age." - Nikolina Lauc, CEO, GlycanAge

“From my own experience of continuously tracking my GlycanAge since my sixties, I have come to believe that age is more than just a number - it can serve as an important indicator for understanding and managing our own health. Through this collaboration with GlycanAge, we aim to promote a new culture of healthy longevity built around a simple cycle: measure, understand, act, and measure again. Together, we hope to bring this approach to the world.”- Takashi Nishihira, CEO, ExoEarth Corporation
